By Emily OBrienAUSTIN, Texas — A new collection of fairy tale jewelry from the Disney theme parks will celebrate the first anniversary of the company’s inception, Disney officials announced Thursday.
Disney is holding the event, which will include performances by performers from the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Walt Disney World Resort, to celebrate the company launching the new line of fairy tales jewelry, which are made from real items that are used to create the worlds famous Disney characters.
Disney debuted the fairy tale collection in October, and it includes a limited edition pink ribbon, a pink ribbon featuring the Disney character Cinderella, a necklace with a pink flower and a pink bracelet.
The company also announced Thursday that it will be donating a portion of its sales of the jewelry to local charities and organizations to help support the families affected by the storm.
