This week, in a new book, the award-winning filmmaker Peter Ackerman, an award-winner at the Sundance Film Festival, tells the story of a dog named Biggles.
When he was a young pup, Biggels owners kept him chained and chained himself.
After a few weeks, Biggs owner got a little bit upset and tried to get him out.
His owner said he could come out but he had to wait.
The dog’s owner called the cops, who took Biggs away.
Now, Biggins owners are in jail.
And the story ends there.
But now the dog is back.
His owners have taken him to court, and the judge is not pleased.
She says the dog’s owners, who have a history of animal cruelty and neglect, should be held liable.
“They should be in jail for a long time for this dog to be in that situation,” Judge Amy Cott said.
Cott also said she would like the judge to take a look at the dogs’ history of neglect.
